The menu at Wagon Wheel Diner is a celebration of timeless favorites crafted with care and bursting with flavor. Whether you're craving the crispy, golden Chicken Fried Steak or the comforting Country Fried Steak and Eggs, every dish arrives at your table brimming with appetite-whetting aromas and satisfying textures. The Biscuit & Gravy Platters are a standout—imagine a jumbo, fresh-baked biscuit smothered in creamy sausage or country gravy, paired with perfectly cooked eggs and your choice of smoky bacon, savory sausage links, or patties. This is breakfast indulgence at its finest.
For those seeking a sweeter start, the Buttermilk Waffles and the signature Bananny Granny Waffle—a playful and scrumptious creation—deliver fluffy, golden bliss topped with fresh fruit or rich syrups. The Chicken and Waffles dish offers an irresistible balance of crispy and tender, sweet and savory that will have you savoring every bite. Belgian Waffles with a side of fresh strawberries and the decadent Cinnamon French Toast made with Hawaiian bread create tempting options for those with a sweet tooth.
The diner also impresses with its Sensational Salads, such as the Cali Chef Salad, layered with diced bacon, juicy chicken, smashed avocado, and a blend of cheddar and Swiss cheeses, bringing a fresh, vibrant contrast to the hearty breakfast offerings. The Texas Taco—served on flatbread topped with chili, onions, tomatoes, olives, and shredded cheese atop a crisp bed of lettuce—is a flavorful twist that adds a bit of southwestern flair.
Stepping inside the Wagon Wheel, you're greeted by a fun, inviting atmosphere imbued with an old-western vibe. Rustic decor, vintage photographs, and lively western tunes set a nostalgic yet lively mood that perfectly complements the hearty food. The space may be intimate, but that only makes the dining experience feel more personalized and welcoming. Friendly staff, who often greet regulars by name and anticipate their orders, create a genuine sense of community—something long appreciated by diners like Chris Benham, who calls it his new regular spot in St. George.
Customers repeatedly praise the attentive, cheerful service—despite the bustling environment—and express appreciation for the efficient yet friendly waitstaff who hustle to keep the experience smooth and enjoyable. From the first sip of their excellent coffee to the last bite of crisp bacon or fluffy hash browns, diners leave feeling satisfied and eager to return.

This place is amazing!!! Nice to see regulars coming and the waitress knows them amd theirs orders, really cool. This will be my new regular breakfast restaurant when visiting ST George.
Whenever we come to Saint George we try to visit someplace new. Wagon Wheeler Diner was a pleasant surprise. Our waitress was super friendly and very efficient. The food was delicious. I loved the eggs Benedict. It is not a very large place and doesn't have a huge amount of seating but this allows more personalized service by the staff. I'll definitely visit again for breakfast.
Good breakfast at a good price. Service: 2 young ladies doing the best they can hustling to service and clean 7 tables. Post to r and friendly. A bit uncoordinated. Atmosphere: Small diner. Decent decor. The people waiting for a table don’t have much to do but look at the people eating. Food: get the biscuit. Bacon is good. Eggs undercooked. Hash brown decent.
Great food! Fun western vibe with old west music and photos and really friendly staff! Coffee was awesome and also their rye bread toast with the peach jam!
We love local diners! Fun atmosphere and a great staff. Good food and we will be back.
Affordable, fast & friendly service. Quaint old fashion setting. The Cajun chicken for the chicken & waffle dish, is really good. Adding the strawberry jelly on top was chefs kiss. The texas taco is a good option for something healthy and tasty. My husband got the single burger with the cajun fries, burger was like any ordinary burger, but for that $8 price you can’t complain.
We tried Wagon Wheel for breakfast today. it is a cozy diner where service and food were both top notch. Great coffee too! We will be back to try other meals on their extensive breakfast/lunch menu.
